Timestamp-based timing
The display recalculates from elapsed timestamps instead of counting callbacks. A sleeping device or suspended browser may still delay the alert until the page runs again.

Will the timer stay accurate in a background tab?
It recalculates from timestamps when the page runs again, so delayed screen updates do not lose elapsed time.
Can it alert me if the browser is closed?
No. The optional sound needs the page to be open and the browser and device to allow audio.
How are stopwatch laps calculated?
Each lap shows the time since the previous lap and the total elapsed time when it was recorded.
Which keyboard shortcuts are available?
When the clock workspace has focus, Space controls the clock, Escape resets it, and L records a running stopwatch lap.
What does Reset remove?
Reset stops the current clock and clears laps. Timer Reset also restores the default five-minute duration and sound preference.
