How is the current weighted grade calculated?
Each valid score is multiplied by its weight, then the completed weighted points are normalized across completed work.
What if completed weights do not total 100%?
The calculator shows both completed weight and your normalized current grade without treating unfinished work as a zero.
How is the required final score calculated?
The remaining final-exam weight is used to solve the weighted-grade formula for the score needed to reach your target.
What does a result above 100% mean?
It means the desired course grade cannot be reached through the entered final exam alone.
Can I use letter grades?
No. This tool uses percentages because letter boundaries vary between institutions and education systems.
