Select Ends next day to add one 24-hour boundary before the duration is calculated.
What does Hours (decimal) mean?
It expresses the same duration as a fraction of an hour, while hours and minutes use clock units.
Does Work Hours account for daylight-saving changes?
No. It calculates elapsed clock time without calendar dates or time-zone rules.
What happens when the start and end times match?
The result is zero unless Ends next day is selected, which makes the duration 24 hours.
Can I copy the calculated hours?
Yes. Copy Result creates a branded text summary with the normalized duration and supporting totals.
