FAQs
What can I do in Nature Explorer?
Choose Learn, Guess the Picture, Find It, Guess the Audio Clue, Where Does It Live or Grow, or Adventure Mix. Use a focused category when you want to practise one group.
Does every subject have an audio clue?
Every subject has a short clue. Some use natural sounds. Other subjects use browser speech when it is available. If it cannot play, you can read the same clue and continue.
What does Live or Grow mean?
Animals and birds are matched to where they usually live, insects to where they are commonly found, and plants and food crops to where they usually grow.
How does Adventure Mix work?
Adventure Mix creates five questions from the available picture, finding, audio-clue, and live-or-grow activities.
Can Nature Explorer read facts aloud?
Yes, when speech is supported and game sound is on. Use Hear name and fact in Learn or Hear fact after answering a question.
Is my Nature Explorer progress saved?
Progress is stored in this browser for personal use. Clearing browser data can remove it, and Nature Explorer does not publish a leaderboard.
